I went to lunch for a birthday. The food was good—we ordered chicken curry, gyozas, a salmon tartare starter, some makis and cocktails—everything arrived on time and with good presentation.nnHowever, despite the good food, I was left with a bad impression due to a detail in the service. I approached the waiter to ask him, as a surprise, for a small gesture for the birthday we were celebrating, but he asked me for the birthday girl's ID to be able to do it.nnI thought it was unnecessary and in bad taste, especially since it was a surprise. I told him that no benefit was necessary, that he should simply add a dessert to the bill, but the moment had already lost its humor. I had never been made that kind of request before, and it was awkward having to explain it.nnHopefully they can handle these types of situations more tactfully in the future, because a good experience is not only based on the food, but also on the details and customer service.nnFinally, indicate that they charge the courtesy snack they give upon arrival. They should indicate it before.

The chef was very friendly and attentive, and the service was first-rate. The food was incredible, and the dining atmosphere was wonderful.
