My wife and I had a wonderful culinary experience. I ordered the asado de tira, and she went with the full Maido experience — both were absolutely incredible. Every bite was packed with flavor and truly unforgettable.nnHowever, I rated it four stars instead of five due to a couple of disappointments. We couldn’t help but feel slightly discriminated against. We were likely the only Hispanic (Peruvian) guests in the restaurant, and while a gentleman who appeared to be a manager was making rounds and greeting other tables, he never once approached ours — even though we were there for over two and a half hours. On top of that, we were seated right next to a coffee grinder that went off frequently, which became quite bothersome.nnAside from those issues, we still appreciated the opportunity to dine at what’s considered the number one restaurant in the world.
