We waited 1.5 hours and my brother never received his entree- they let us know after 1.5 hours that they didn’t have what he ordered.nnOne of the most horrific dining experiences of my life and my 3 friends agree. I never leave reviews like this but feel obligated this time to protect people from coming here. Waitress had zero idea what was on the menu and was incapable of answering any questions.nnNo one in the kitchen cared at all. There was no management in the kitchen because food took a long time to come out and was cold and low-quality when it did. Mushrooms from salad were soggy- tasted like they were from a can. Fried chicken on my salad was cold. Fish was dry. Shrimp wasn’t fresh. Lobster from the Mac n cheese gave me a stomach ache. Fried plantain chips were rock solid.nnAfter no communication from the kitchen, I finally spoke up when the waitress told us she didn’t have the food we ordered. My friend had to walk into the kitchen to speak to whoever was in charge when we told the waitress this was unacceptable. Thankfully a manager-in-training named Carlos finally came out and apologized, which was a nice and appropriate gesture.nnThe incredibly high prices do not match the quality and the staff was completely incompetent and unprepared compared to the professional find dining experiences we had at the Kimpton and Ibagari the nights before. Aside from food quality, staff professionalism is a key aspect of high-end dining. This place had neither.

A hidden gem, server 5 stars, chef 5 stars, food 5 stars, location and view amazing. Can’t say enough but we were thoroughly satisfied with Azul, this place is probably the best restaurant in West Roatan.

Interesting tasting of fish and alcohol pairings. The octopus was very good. I would suggest limiting alcohol pairings to smaller quantities of Central American drinks, such as shots.

Great food, service was great but the food took a little long to come out of the kitchen. We had our Christmas dinner and enjoyed our time, only uncertainty was the rain but it did not ruin the evening.
