The sushi factory chain cooks delicious food, but the place felt a bit old, and the service was a bit slow.

The service and portions became deficient over time. Today I ended up ordering an extra order of shrimp for the mixed poke I ordered, because it was literally 12 pieces of shrimp that came in a plate that costs almost $300 MXN. That extra order didn't arrive and they charged me for it. I asked the waiter to please cancel it and he arrived with the shrimp order. I told him I didn't want it and at least he canceled it. I asked him to please charge only the bill because I would be paying for the service in cash; I always try to leave at least 10% even if I don't like the service. He took the cash I left and thanked me. When I left, I checked the charge on my card and it turns out that the service charge was also charged to my card. If I don't check before I leave, they keep double the tip and I'm left with a terrible experience in a place that used to be more or less good.

The mixed poke was very good, with an excellent ratio of rice to extras. The kotsu ramen is not recommended. The broth was very watery, tasteless, and lukewarm, and the noodles were very short and thin. The side dishes are nothing special, and they serve it with a regular spoon, so you have to ask for or bring chopsticks.nThe service is very good, attentive without being intrusive.nThe place isn't themed; it's very minimalist, with a fast-food atmosphere.

I love Sushi Factory. I love their food, but there have been times when I've received the wrong change, something has been spoiled, or the waiters have forgotten something. I've had these unpleasant experiences, especially during the night shift. On other occasions, both in the morning and afternoon, the food is very good. The waiters are friendly and always resolve the problem in the end, but they only take away what's bad and don't offer anything else.
